Personally, I'm having friends over to have an 'old-fashioned games night' powered by candlelight. I'm looking forward to a night that isn't overpowered by television or radio but conversation and fun.

I think this is an amazing event and I'm glad to see more people and organizations alike supporting Earth Hour this year. Hopefully this will continue to grow and remind people we can still survive and exist without power.

That sounds like a lot of fun! I think I'm taking the train into Toronto (instead of driving) and I'm going to check out some of the places that say they are turning out the lights, like the Royal York Hotel which apparently does dinner and the lobby by candlelight.
